A geometric design project spanning multiple years. All parts are drawn with pen, ink, and sometimes colored pencil. Future plans are to digitize as many as possible using Adobe Illustrator.
Each piece starts from a central point, with no plan for the final design. From there, I carefully expand it outwards, with the shape and line style constantly evolving. Each piece is experiencing a state of constant motion and direction, while at the same time is also meticulously locked together by the sum of its parts. The creative process is similar to that of creating a mandala; I let my hand guide the direction in which the creation wants to go.
